SAP goes all-in on the agent ecosystem

While the general AI ecosystem boils, SAP has started moving in the same direction. On its developer channels it presented an AI Skills library, CodeConnect, an MCP Gateway to expose its services to agents, and version 2.0 of CDS-Caching.

That last detail matters more than it looks: CDS-Caching is used to cache in CAP applications, and that includes caching model responses and AI service calls, increasingly necessary when agents fire many requests. The official SDKs (ai-sdk-js and ai-sdk-python) remain the door to the Generative AI Hub.
