How the donation works

100% of your book purchase ends up at open-hand.org

Books, bundles, and donations from the shop are collected on behalf of open-hand.org, a nonprofit we sponsor. It is not Logali profit: it is an amount we remit in full. Training (subscriptions and masters) is not part of this program. No asterisks: here is how it works, step by step.

  1. You buy or donate

A one-off card payment via Stripe: a book, a bundle, or a direct donation. No subscription, no recurring charges.

  2. Collected on behalf of open-hand

The amount comes in as pass-through: it is not Logali income, it is a liability we must remit to open-hand.org. It is recorded as such in the accounts.

  3. Logali covers the payment fee

The Stripe fee is borne by Logali, not by open-hand. That is why open-hand receives 100% of the nominal amount you paid, with no deductions.

  4. Monthly remittance, quarterly report

We send the collected funds to open-hand.org every month and publish a quarterly report here with the running total. Verifiable transparency.

The essentials, no small print

We mean 100% of the price, not a percentage of profit. Logali covers the payment fee so the donation is complete.

The figure is updated here quarterly, with enough detail for you to judge for yourself.

Why? Because the collection was not born to be a revenue line: it was born to organize twenty years of knowledge and serve twice — the reader and the recipient of the donation.
