What it is and why it matters
AppFlowy is a block-based collaborative workspace positioned as an open-source Notion alternative. In the video it is described as a simplified Notion, usable solo or with a team, and the hosts value that it does not push paid AI features onto everyone. They note the block model fits well both for documents and for AI generation.
Key points
- Block-based model (documents, Kanban boards, to-do lists)
